I know its been a while since I wrote on here. I would blame it on the fact that I'm so busy, but really I have a lot of free time. Mostly I just forget to do it. Honestly.
I start my new job tonight. I got a job with Wackenhut Security. I know, the name sounds weird. Andy King pointed that out the first time I told him, but its a job. I will be working 38 hours a week at two different locations in Knoxville over four days. I hope everything works out. I'm not going to be making a lot of money, but it will be something for now.
Missions conference starts at church tonight with the World Mission Banquet. It should be fun. Janell is making a big lasagna to take with us. We are sitting with Keith and Kami Henschen (sp?) and the Cho's, a Korean family that moved here to attend college. We are looking forward to it very much.
Drew's second birthday was yesterday. Nell made him a cake and we went to Ci Ci's for pizza. Pizza is his new favorite food. He ate like five pieces while we were there. I don't know if he has a hollow leg or what. We didn't really get to the cake until lunch today. He was awful glad to get it. The first thing he said when he woke up Friday morning was 'birthday cake.' He remembered that from when Mommy had a birthday.
Thats all thats happening here. Hopefully work will go well tonight. A few hours of training tonight and Tuesday and then I'll be on my own Wednesday night! Too bad they didn't give me any handcuffs or even a big stick with which to hit people....
